The inner geek (okay, maybe just straightout geek) finds 3D printing cool – but this is wicked.  Apparently a company has found a way to create material for 3D printing out of use plastic found in the ocean.

What makes this even cooler, is that the plastic is being supplied by the “plastic bank” – an innovative idea that pays people to harvest plastic from the water.
