My name is Douglas Thoms and I am excited about our sustainability crisis.  Yes.  Excited.

Our planet faces a lot of challenges as our population, resource consumption and pollution increase.  These are major challenges we must overcome if    we want to maintain our civilization… but in these challenges there are great opportunities.  For innovation.  For new ways of adding value.  For developing a more inclusive definition of “wealth”.

And that’s where I am.

I pursue solutions that add value to society, both in terms of traditional wealth (such as money) and equally important unconventional wealth (such as   biosphere resources, social stability and community)…
